Aromatherapy |
|
Dating back to the Egyptian
times, Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils for healing. The
oils are extracted from the fruits, twigs, leaves, petals and seeds
of shrubs, grasses, trees and flowers. Essential oils can be highly
effective to help a wide range of illnesses and conditions. Each treatment
should involve a consultation as the oils should be chosen and blended
to the particular needs of the client at that moment in time. Massage
is the most common form of treatment, however compresses and products
may be given to help, to use at home and in baths. The smell of essential
oils can be very therapeutic and may have profound effects on moods
and emotions which when used, can restore a sense of wellbeing. |

Body Massage |
Massage is one
of the oldest forms of natural healthcare and is instinctive to everyone.
Massage is a healing tool which can be used to relieve muscular aches
and pains, it eases stress and tension and improves circulation. Body
Massage can be both relaxing and/or stimulating. General relaxation
is brought about by the slow rhythmical movements which produce a
soothing, sedative effect on the nerve endings. Vigorous, brisk massage
will give a stimulating effect producing feelings of vigour and glow.
The oil used is chosen according to skin type and preference and will
leave the skin feeling soft and supple. Massage offers benefit for
many ailments both physical or emotional, it also helps anyone suffering
from stress. |
